prabha's story

radiance. from soil to skin.

prabhapiclarger.jpg

Prabha was born in Nabapara, India, a small farming village shaped by sun, soil, and a connection to the land. Her family lived by what they could grow and raise. Days began before dawn with hands in the earth, shaped by a life where nothing was wasted and everything was made by hand. Her name means radiance in Sanskrit, a quiet reflection of her strength despite not having the chance to finish high school.

When she immigrated to the United States, she carried those early values with her. Over time her skin changed. It became dry, cracked, and painfully sensitive. She tried every soap she could find. Nothing restored her skin. She returned to what she knew. She crafted her own soaps with the same care she learned in Nabapara. Kokum butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, castor oil, organic oils, and slow cold process techniques became her tools.

Her skin healed. In that transformation she discovered the deeper meaning of her name. The soaps she first made for herself grew into a small company shaped by heritage and nature, rooted in the belief that healing often begins with our own hands.
